Wave Starts and Gun Time/Chip Time
Due to the record number of entrants we have this year we will be looking at using 2-3 wave starts for all events to ease congestion at the start. This will be self managed and was ask Faster runners to go in the earlier waves and slower runner /walkers to go in the later waves.
Your personal timing chip which will be located on the back of your Race Bib and will be activated once you cross the start line, and your finishing time will be recorded as you cross the finish line. So there is no need to rush to get started as your overall time excludes how long it takes you to cross the start line after the gun goes.
